Oral History preserves UGA Social Work history through conversation

The UGA School of Social Work Oral History Project is a collection of interviews with social work alumni, administrators, and stakeholders. It grew out of the larger UGA Black Alumni Oral History Project, and on this page, we also provide links to relevant interviews from Athens Oral History Project.

This website was launched in 2022 with technical support from students and faculty at UGA’s New Media Institute. It is maintained by students and staff at UGA School of Social Work. Last modifications: July 2026.
